Cool, flowing linen and warm, springy wool. The linen thread is unbleached, the wool yarn a soft red. Everything, from the fiber to the yarn to the fabric, is produced according to the criteria of the Global Organic Standard. The material unfolds in a large size, framed by a heavier blue cotton fabric with light woven ribbing. This adds some structure to the front edge and sleeves. The bottom hem is finished with a soft, golden-beige cotton band. The sleeves and back are cut on the bias, with compact French seams on the inside – and then there are a few accents in a time-traveling vintage lining fabric. It can be found as insider information – unless there’s a turn-over. Side slits for the belt make that entirely possible.
