Chiboust

This is all about slouchy finesse: a noble silk shines, a stable wool swings and some easy viscose keeps it a little untidy – all fibres in one fabric. It’s a matter of ruffled elegance and crumpled aplomb. The classic herringbone weave lends a serious undertone while the boldish blue-green speaks out – with a lovely warm grey keeping the balance. Add a native woven edge supported by a dry beige ribbon, all pleating into a small back collar and you have some ambiguity to play with. Finally some striped cotton modestly taking care of edges and around the inside seams, finishing off with cognac satin ribbon inside a hem that’s got swing!
